Set it up

  1. Open Customize → Connectors.
  2. Press + → Add custom connector.
  3. Name it toolcall, paste your link, press Add.
  4. Press Connect and sign in with X.
  5. In a chat, open + → Connectors and switch toolcall on.

The free plan allows one custom connector.

Set it up

  1. Open Plugins in the left menu.
  2. Press + (top right) → Add custom MCP server.
  3. Name it toolcall, paste your link, authentication OAuth.
  4. Tick the warning box → Create as a plugin, then sign in with X.
  5. In a chat, press + and pick toolcall.

Work accounts (Business, Enterprise) need an admin to allow plugins with MCP. ChatGPT may ask you to confirm each trade: that is expected.

  2. Start Claude Code again in the same folder.
  3. Type /mcp, pick toolcall, choose Authenticate.
  4. Sign in, then come back to the terminal.
  5. Say "buy $10 of $CALL".
